My first interest in photography first developed when I was six years old and my grandfather lent me his Polaroid Instant Camera to play with. I loved snapping with it and critiquing my own tiny instant prints afterwards. Soon, I began carrying disposable cameras with me everywhere just documenting my day-to-day. After receiving my first paycheck at my after school job junior year of high school, I spent it on an old Pentax K1000 35mm film SLR. I realized photography was something I could see myself pursuing as a career. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Design with a concentration in Photography at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
Currently, I am based in Boston working as a full-time freelance photographer and photo editor for an e-commerce in town. I've gained experience working in a high-volume commercial studio while continuing to explore documentary-style photography with my own work.
